Adopting an Older Dog

Dogs come into Forest Dog Rescue in all shapes, sizes and condition. Some come with an illness and some are just old and have been dumped for a newer model. For these special dogs we offer additional long term support.

Every dog is an individual and we know their needs are different. We will tailor the care and support to suit each unique personality. For instance, for our oldies we offer coverage of veterinary fees for age related problems.

Over the years we have found wonderful foster homes for our special dogs who need more than the average TLC. Dogs such as Roxy, Henry, Pearl, Gwyneth, Albert, Charlie and Danny. You can see an update on Danny's progress on our Facebook page (thank you to Jason Kernohan).
