Thank you to all who joined in the fun at FDR's Car Boot today, weather was very kind too. Special thanks to our steadfast volunteers for all their hard work, time and support, you truly are appreciated so much by all, just saying thank you never seems to justify all the hard work you put in but hopefully the joy on the faces of the dogs in our care, equals the joy you all bring to FDR.
It was another successful day all round i think,we were joined by Mary, Becky and Lyn today too who had their own stand selling home-baked doggie treat and gifts, they are taking orders for any item you see in the pictures, anyone interested can get in touch with us and we'll pass on their details.
It was lovely to see people getting together for a good chat, enjoying all the lovely tasty food from the Buttie Bar, picking up bargains and sharing time with our resident dogs too, Stanley is seen here stealing Becky's heart, Ivor wearing his special jacket hoping it would be easier for his forever family to find him and little Max giving his support under the table while mum's working away in the Buttie bar alongside Cindy and Linda!
The first picture is of a dog we met last year as a visitor, Fudge, she was rescued too after being thrown out of a moving car with one of her legs already broken before she ht the ground...just look at her now, plenty of love, time, dedication and patience has bought this girl on to the beauty she is today, well done and thank you to her very special family for bring who you are.
Thank you everyone, we're going to miss you during the winter months but hopefully we get to share your company once more in November, til then please take care and keep safe, x
