Patti

Beautiful little Patti has come into us as a stray, so sadly we know nothing about her past. What we do know is that she's an incredibly affectionate little French Bulldog with so much love to give and she's now looking for her forever family who will make sure her future is filled with happiness... and plenty of cuddles!

Patti is an absolute sweetheart who adores people, she hasn't put a paw out of line since being here and we really don't have anything bad to say about her. One of her favourite things is to be picked up for a cuddle and snuggle her face into your neck just to be that little bit closer.

She walks lovely on the lead and does enjoy getting out and about, although she does have a bit of stubborn streak! Every now and then she'll decide she's walked quite enough, thank you very much, and will flop down on her back in the hope that you'll stop for a belly rub instead. Safe to say, Patti is probably looking for gentle strolls rather than mountain hikes!

Patti is incredibly neat and tidy in her kennel. She keeps everything spotless, and her toys remain in pristine condition, which makes us think she may never have learned how to play—or perhaps she's simply more interested in cuddles than toys.

She gets on well with other dogs and could potentially live with a calm, friendly canine brother or sister providing temperaments suit.

Patti would love a home where she won't be left alone for long and where someone is around to shower her with the attention she deserves. She would love to enjoy regular walks and adventures, but more importantly, she'll want to spend her evenings curled up on the sofa next to you, soaking up every cuddle she can get.

Patti would make the perfect addition to a family, though she may not know much about fetching toys or climbing mountains, she certainly makes up for it in affection.

Hugo

Please welcome Hugo to the FDR family, Hugo has come into us as a stray with no history so we have taken the time to get to know him and now it's time for him to find his forever family!

Don’t let his 8 years fool you, Hugo hasn’t read the rulebook on acting your age, he has plenty of energy and a cheeky Frenchie personality!

Hugo loves a bit of fun, especially when it comes to toys. He’ll happily chase them around the playpen, although the bringing them back part is apparently optional in Hugo’s world! His cheeky side comes out quite frequently, sometimes a slip lead turns into an exciting game of tuggy - oops.

Out and about, Hugo is a star. He walks well on the lead and regularly goes out with volunteer walkers, who all enjoy his company. He also proved himself to be an absolute gentleman on a recent vet trip—travelling beautifully and behaving impeccably for the vet throughout his visit.

Hugo is generally fine with other dogs, but he can be a bit over-the-top in his enthusiasm. He tends to come on strong and can be a little bossy, so for now, he’d likely be happiest as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention.

At the moment, Hugo is receiving treatment for an eye condition, believed to be the result of an old untreated ulcer that has caused some scarring. He’s currently on medicated drops, and once those are done he will be booked in to carry out a more thorough examination of his eye along with being castrated (Shh don't tell him the last part!).

Hugo is a lovable, lively companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart. With the right home, he’ll make a fantastic, fun-loving addition to the family.
