Darla is unfortunately looking for a new home through no fault of her own, sadly her owner can no longer give her the love and attention she deserves, added to this her owner has developed allergies to her so the difficult decision was made to start the process of looking for a new home where she will be treated like a princess & the center of someones world.

At the moment Darla is still with her owner in the hopes we can find her a home before having to come into kennels, but we have had her up for an assessment so we do know the type of home she is looking for.

We have been told that she is an energetic girl, who is playful and wants to be with you, she is crate trained, travels well, loves toys, loves her walks, and currently lives with 2 kittens.

We do know that she is currently living with a dog however her owner feels she may best suited being an only dog in her next home as poor Darla was bitten by another dog out on a walk in the summer and since this she has had some anxieties with other dogs though her owner does agree that the anxiety could also be transferred from her down the lead to Narla. When she was up at our kennels for her assessment, we couldn't fault her with/around other dogs she met whilst on lead here but any new owner may just need to be aware of this to help her going forwards.

Darla has been around children however smaller tots she does accidentally bump into, so we are looking for a home with no under 5's.

Overall Darla would love a home where she can be given all the attention she deserves, get plenty of lovely long walks and help her along with some training - she does have a good level of obedience but her recall is 50/50 and her road sense is none existent.
