Beautiful little Yoko is now ready to find her forever home. She is a gorgeous girl who has come in to us from another rescue so no prior history is known.
Yoko can be a little nervous at first so it's gently does it until she knows you. She has made huge improvements on this since she's been here and now also goes out with the occasional volunteer walker. 🐾
Her walking has improved too and she absolutely loves a good old sniff. A loose lead and plenty of encouragement is what she needs.
She is such a sweet little girl who loves fuss and comes running up to you in the playpen. She doesn't really play with toys or know what to do with them. That may develop over time but at the moment she prefers sniffing or having the hoolies and zoomies😆
Yoko prefers dogs of a similar size or smaller than her. She is quite intimidated with bigger dogs and can pick and choose who she likes. She would be happy as an only dog getting all the attention first hand. We would consider her going with another dog if temperaments suit.
She is quite a sensitive little soul who can get a bit flinchy with loud noises or sudden movements. It is improving slightly as she gets used to her environment and grows in confidence but she will need gentle encouragement with this and time and patience to feel more confident. For this reason we are looking for older or no children so she doesn't get too overwhelmed.
Yoko is a little star and once she is settled and feeling secure will make someone the most wonderful loving companion. A funny and loving girl who is ready for her forever family.
