We are hoping there is a home out there somewhere for 2-3 year old TILLY... as you might be able to tell from the photos (she has gained weight since they were taken) but she is a nervous soul who needs a gentle home, a calm dog companion and a loving, sympathetic owner to continue her confidence building journey to show her the world isn't a scary place.
Tilly has come into us from another rescue where she was straying for weeks on end and had to be trapped to be brought to safety, comfort and food.
She has been with us a number of weeks whilst we have been doing lots of work with her. She is now gaining weight and has made some progress such as going out on the lead (albeit a bit reluctant at times) but as you can imagine kennels is no place for a dog like her, progress is slow and sometimes regresses 🙁 So we are tentatively looking for a home to give her time to decompress and help her going forwards.
Tilly is good with other dogs and we think having a dog would greatly impact her progress in a positive way so we will be looking for a home with another dog, potentially similar size and one that is confident but not overwhelming for her, to take confidence and find comfort in.
We are also looking for a quieter home with a securely fenced garden at least 6ft as we don't think she would cope with a busy home life and will certainly need a garden to keep her safe as she can be flighty and would easily be over anything below 6ft.
We can honestly say Tilly hasn't got one bad bone in her body and we do think that given the time, right environment and all the TLC she needs, once she has bonded with her new owner she will make the most loyal and beautiful girl.
