Little Worzel found himself in the stray pound where his future was in the balance, that was until we offered him a space here with us and so his second chance begins!

The first thing we can say about him is that he is very much an active boy who would thrive in an active home with lots of walks, adventures, hikes and expeditions - he just loves to be out and about, certainly no couch potato or lapdog in his remit.

We do think he would benefit from a home with Patterdale or terrier experience, he does need training as he lacks in basic commands and his lead work is a bit ropey but nothing some work and training classes couldn't solve, we also don't know if he has ever lived in a house before so housetraining, household noises and routines may well need to be established. we would say he isn't a first time dog owners dog.

When the lead comes out in his kennel he gets super excited and likes to tell (rather shout!) everyone about it! Out on the lead he has no interest in the human attached to the other end, he's all about the sniffs and walking as much as he can but back in the confines of his kennel does like a cuddle and fuss.

There is potential that he could live with another dog provided temperaments suit but we do think a home where he is the only dog and where he can get all the 1-2-1 training and focus he needs would be best for him.

Hopefully we can find this little dude a home soon, he is absolutely hating every single second of kennels - bless him!
