Our gorgeous Barney is on the lookout for the loving forever home he's always deserved. We know Barney has had a very difficult start in life, he then found himself in another rescue where, despite waiting patiently, he just wasn't having any luck finding a family so we were asked if we could help - how could we say no!?

On first meeting Barney can be a little shy and unsure but it doesn't take too long until his wiggly tail & whole body start wagging! He is the sweetest, most affectionate boy who absolutely adores fuss, cuddles and being close to his people. More than anything, Barney simply wants to be loved.

He's walking really well on the lead and has recently been introduced to a Gencon, which he's taken to really well though he will benefit from a little continued work in his new home, but he's already making fantastic progress.

Once Barney gets into the playpen, his playful side really comes out! He absolutely loves a good zoom around, although watching him can be like watching Bambi on ice, with legs flying everywhere and not always knowing where they're supposed to go! He really is a puppy in an adult dog's body, and it's impossible not to smile watching him. He's also discovering the joy of toys, he loves a game of tuggy and when you go into his kennel and he proudly picks up a toy to bring over to you - SO cute!

Barney is still working on his manners though he does know 'sit' & 'paw'! At the moment everything is so exciting that he can't help but jump up to ask for a cuddle. With some training he'll soon learn that all four paws on the floor still earn him plenty of fuss.

He's great with other dogs and has become best friends with our lovely Reggie, he could potentially live with another dog provided temperaments suit but he would be entirely happy as an only dog with all the TLC, attention and treats all for him!

Barney truly is a special boy. After everything he's been through, he deserves a life filled with love and happiness. He's missed out on so much, and we'd love nothing more than to see him finally experience all the wonderful things every dog should have—a family to call his own, sofa snuggles, adventures and to be loved.
