Meet BENJI, a handsome 18 month old Cockapoo who has sadly found himself back in kennels due to possession issues that arose when living with another dog.
Benji originally came into us from a private home as he had been unsettled since the arrival of a baby in the home and there were concerns over his history on resource guarding so his owners felt it was best to find him a home without young children. We then found Benji a home with another Cockapoo however despite getting on like long lost friends on walks, out and about and at their introduction there were significant problems within the home environment so he will need a home with no other dogs and just have canine friends on walks.
Benji is a fun-loving, energetic lad who thrives on activity and would love an active home to keep both his body and mind busy. He enjoys getting out and about, and while he can be lead by his nose and excitement at times, he doesn’t walk too badly on the lead and is always eager for his next adventure.
One of Benji’s absolute favourite things? His toys! He loves to play and would be happiest with plenty of enrichment and playtime to keep him occupied. He is also a good boy as he will allow you to trade and take his toys from him.
Benji has so much love to give and just needs the right environment to help him shine. If you can offer him a calm, structured home where he can be your one and only, he’ll reward you with loyalty, fun, and companionship.
Benji will need a very special home where he can be the only pet and live with adults only, Cockapoo and resource guarding experience would also be of great benefit.
