Please welcome little Brook our pocket size crossbreed of English Bull Terrier, Corgi and whatever else that could be in there - we have no idea!!
Brook has come into us as a stray with no history so no idea where she has come from or what she's been up to in life so far but we are here to make sure her future is bright and full of everything she wants and needs!!
So we will start off with the negatives (if you can really call them that!), she has come full circle from shy and retiring to full of confidence and a bundle of energy... her leadwork is at the top of the improvement list as she is strong, does pull and quite literally all over the place however we have began working with her to accept a Gencon and there is already lots of improvement but likely work will still be needed in her new home.
Another area where some work does have to be done is other dogs, it's clear she's not been around them much as she is very interested in them and will walk even walk backwards to catch a glimpse at a passing dog, when she meets them more up close she does get very excited, over the top and certainly lacking in any kind of canine ettiquette so we feel that she might be best to be an only dog at least to begin with to allow her to learn what is acceptable in the dog world and what is not acceptable - otherwise she won't be making friends, just enemies bless her!
Lets get onto her redeeming features... she is SUPER friendly with people, loves cuddles and fuss galore, happy to share kisses all day long and will sit up on your lap for as long as you can tollerate her pokey paws on your thighs whilst she reaches up to give you a smooch or put her head on your shoulder.
You won't have a dull moment with her around if you have toys and a garden, she is so much fun and even funnier to watch her zoomies at 100mph so we definitely think she needs her very own garden in her new home!
We'd probably say she would be better with older or no children as her enthusiasm sometimes is a bit too much for her to contain and as such does jump up, and although pint size she is solid so could quite easily knock little people over!
Overall Brook is a beautiful girl who just hasn't had the best start to set her up to be a well rounded adult however with a bit of training, a lot of love and a forever home she will definitely catch up and be an amazing dog for someone!! 😀
