This gorgeous boy is another ex racing Greyhound that we have taken on from the race track. He is certainly loving the retired life and spends his day snoozing in his bed. He gets excited when it is walk time now but as soon as you are out he walks like a dream until he get a sniff of something in the hedge then he can pull a little towards it. In the playpen he has a mooch about, not really seen any zoomies yet but will have a little play with a tuggie toy and very interested in a squeaky toy but doesn't quite know what to do with it yet 🙂

Fusses and cuddles are somewhat foreign to him but he is coming around to the fact that he may actually like them and he has been enjoying being brushed now which he was unsure of at first. He is quite an independent pup and will happily take himself and do his own little thing but the longer he has been here the more he is beginning to interact.

Captain has walked around with other dogs here, mainly ignoring them although we have found that he does like to be in his own bubble and doesn't appreciate dogs too close. His body language indicates that he is nervous around them and a little uncomfortable so would probably be better being an only dog or with another Greyhound as that is all he has ever known.

Older children as we think he would be uncomfortable with smaller ones running around and no small furries
