Cardi is unfortunately looking for a new home as her owners declining health mean that she isn't getting the walks and time she needs, so hopefully we can find her a nice retirement home!

As Cardi has never been in kennels before her owner is keeping her at home so she doesn't have to endure the stress of kennels but she has come up to us for her assessment which she flew through.

When Cardi came up to the kennels she was super happy to greet everyone and absolutely loved all the fuss she could get, she walked well on the lead, came back to her name in the playpen and enjoyed getting all the sniffs she could sniff!

We have been told that she is super chill in the home opting to snooze her days away though she can be playful at times and will bark to let you know, after a quick tuggy game or play with her favourite bone she then gets back on the sofa to resume her nap. Cardi is housetrained, fine to be left on her own, travels well, does love her walks, knows her basic commands (though only usually obeys if there is treat bribery!) and loves her fuss. She is great with people, if anyone enters the house she quickly goes off to retrieve her favourite bone to show them!

We are looking for a dog free home for  Cardi as she's never lived with dogs nor has she had much to do with other dogs, she does live with cats but can be quite boisterous when she wants them to play.

Cardi needs a home where she can start her weight loss program as she is in need of loosing a fair few pounds but hopefully with regular gentle walks gradually building up she will trim down and be able to enjoy longer walks.

Overall Cardi is a big cuddle monkey who just needs a home to love her, give her the fuss she craves and get her out enjoying walks!
