Ideal Home

Max has come into from a private home, though nothing Max has done in particular nor purposely but he was too much for the families younger children, through his excitement he was accidentally knocking the children over and generally too lively for them so the family decided it would be best for him to be rehomed where there aren't such young children in the home.

Since coming into us Max has been your typical happy, energetic puppy who's tail is always wagging and is always up for an adventure! His lead walking could do with a bit of work he can be guided by his nose forgetting he has a human attached, we have started to show him how to walk to heel but this will need to be continued in his new home.

In the playpen zoomies are life, toys are a close second but he will certainly need his own garden to enjoy! He would also benefit from some recall training, in the safe confines of our playpen he does come back when called (or when there is a treat on offer) but we feel that further work would be needed to let him off in the big wide world, especially where there are distractions of other dogs to run off and play with instead!

We have been told that Max is crate trained, loves his toys, loves his walks, brilliant with other dogs, great with people and is fine to be left for short periods. We have also been told by his owner that he can sometimes be sick travelling but this was managed by not feeding him prior to a journey.

Max's owners have said his 5* home would be one where his new owners are active and have plenty of time for him, lots of space and a big garden for plenty of zoomies and either no children or children over the age of 7 years old who are more aware and aren't able to be bowled over when he comes running in at 100mph.

Overall Max is a fabulous dog who will make a great family addition for someone who can put in a bit of work to get him on top of his training.
