Everyone meet Micky!! Micky has come into us from another rescue where he was signed over from a private home as the owner could no longer cope with him so we offered him a place here so we can find him a forever home!

We will definitely be looking for an active home for this energetic boy, he loves his walks, he loves to explore and would love nothing more then to get out and see the world, go on lots of adventures, hike hills and see new places!

On the lead he does walk well with the assistance of a Gencon headcollar, for the most part he is by your side but there are times when his excitement get the better of him so some further work wouldn't go a miss as he can be strong at times.

Micky is a sociable butterfly with other dogs, sadly his best friend Arka has now been rehomed as they used to play really well in the playpen together! He has made lots of other friends since being here and he has been absolutely golden with them all of varying temperaments and energy levels. He could very well live with another dog provided temperaments suit but we do thing he would be just as happy as an only dog getting all the focus on him and just having friends for play dates.

We are ideally looking for a home with some shepherd experience to help him move forwards with his training and obedience classes would definitely be high on priorities list to get him up to speed with his basic commands and manners as he is lacking in both (sitting is more luck the judgment, wait isn't in his vocab and he does jump up etc.).

Overall Micky is a beautiful boy both in looks and nature, he just needs a helping paw to catch up on some missed learning and walks!
