Our new girl Milly is ready to put her racing days behind her and start fresh being a domesticated princess! Milly has come into us as she's retired from racing so all she has ever known is kennels and the track, but no doubt she will soon become accustom to the luxuries of houses, sofa's and utter comfort!

When you first approach Milly's kennel and go into get her out she is suuuper excited bouncing everywhere SO happy to see you and can't wait to spend time with you on her walk but as soon as shes out of the kennel she very quickly settles and walks really well on the lead, she goes out with all of our volunteers and isn't an ounce of trouble!

In the playpen your hard pushed to get her to break out of a trot, we are sure she would like a zoomies every now and then but at the moment she's enjoying not having to run instead opting for a mooch, cuddles and casual stroll around.

Milly has met and walked with a range of dogs since being here and she has been friendly to them all, she could live with another dog but best of being a similar size to her 🙂

We think Milly would love to have someone around a lot as she just loves being with people, she would make a great companion or family dog!
