Ideal Home

Ozzy has come to us as he was given to an elderly gentleman in a park, the gentleman wasn't able to keep him himself so took him to some kennels where he was taken in as an emergency before being found a rescue space with us! 😃

We will absolutely be looking for an active home for this dude as he has an abundance of energy so will need plenty of walks, adventures, not to mention mental stimulation in equal measures to exercise.

Ozzy is a super fun dog, there is never a dull moment when he is around! he definitely has a brain between those ears and our challenge has been to harness his concentration to use said clever brain as it's clear he has had limited input prior to coming to us so whilst we have started the basics he will need to continue his training in his new home and ideally attend some dog training classes.

On the lead he can walk well, he does often get distracted by a sniff or excited seeing a person or a dog so he does need a handler to give clear directions and praise when he's being a good boy 🙂

Obviously kennels aren't the place for such a young active boy however his excitement can sometimes get the better of him, especially when we go in for 'walkies' he jumps up often to face height and can mouthe, so we would suggest him being best placed with a home where there are no young children as he may inadvertently hurt them.

With some additional training and the paw-fect home Ozzy will make a fab dog for someone!
