Ideal Home

Poor Ozzy has had to come back into us due to an unforeseen change in his family home which left no option for the family to make the heartbreaking decision to bring him back to find a new home but hopefully he won't be here too long before he finds his forever home!

Ozzy originally came into us last year from the stray pound, so we have no history of his life before this but his owners have given us plenty of information to go on!

We have been told that he is quite calm in the house, is housetrained and does ask to go out by waiting by the back door, he is crate trained where he happily sleeps overnight, fine being left up to 3-4 hours, does travel well, very good boy on his walks, has been to 8 week training class and loves his fuss!!

He walks well on the lead using a head collar and very much enjoys his walks so an active home is a must for him!

His owners said he is good with other dogs out and about though he does seem to take a disliking to GSD's but they also don't seem to like him so the feeling must be mutual! We will be looking for a home where he will remain as an only dog as that is what he is used to.

We have been told that he would suit a quieter home as he finds a busy household a challenge, he would also suit a home with older/no children.

His owners have done a lot of work on his recall and he is much better now however he is still easily distracted so further work and use of enclosed fields would be advisable! 😀

Overall Ozzy is a cracking pup who just needs an active home with his own garden and his own humans!!
