Rhonda is an absolute sweetheart who is ready to find her forever home after coming to us as a stray with no history, we did manage to find her a home however due to an altercation with the other dog in the home she had to heartbreakingly be returned to us.

We have found that she has such a loving, gentle nature and really enjoys being around people. She greets everyone politely without jumping up, and she walks beautifully on the lead, making her a pleasure to take out and about.

Like many lurchers, she enjoys a good zoom around the playpen and can really stretch her legs when the mood takes her, but she is a calm and placid girl too - once she’s had her fun, she’s more than happy to relax, stance the 'Lurcher lean' and enjoy some cuddle time with her human.

Rhonda gets on well with other dogs of all sizes, she did live with a whippet quite harmoniously until several weeks after adoption when they were running round in the garden when there was an incident between the dogs so we are looking for a dog free home and one where she can have safe on lead interactions with other dogs and keep off lead zoomies just to herself.

She does have a prey drive, especially when it comes to birds, so she’ll need sensible management outdoors. She’s also been known to counter surf if tasty snacks are left within reach — a clever girl with a keen nose!

Rhonda would love a secure garden for her zoomies but most of all, she’s looking for love, comfort and a family to call her own.
