RIO hasn't had a great life and his luck isn't changing for the better. After living in a crate for the first year of his life we managed to rehome him and then a year later he has brought back to us due to having no time for him and needing him gone asap. We did have him back for a very short holiday which didn't go well - he is one of the worst dogs we have had to stress in kennels - cries, barks, paces, foams at the mouth and then his behaviour starts to deteriorate so we really need to get him adopted or into a foster placement as soon as possible for his welfare more than anything else.
He is strong on the lead, better with a headcollar but will need some training however he can sit and give a paw! Travels well, housetrained, can be left 3-4 hours, good with dogs and a friendly boy. Ideally we would look for a pet free home with adults or older children (as he has never lived with little people), breed experience would be beneficial and someone who will spend the time and effort in training him.
PLEASE SHARE THE WORD FOR RIO - he really needs some good luck thrown his way. Anyone interested please request an adoption form via email
