Our beautiful Rio is definitely ready to find a new home and make up for lost time after spending a portion of his life confined to a crate!

Rio came into us from a private home as  an emergency where they were unable to cope with him so spent his days crated, full information will be disclosed to anyone interested in rehoming him but we can say that he is a very happy boy considering his background!

Since Rio arrived he has loved everyone he has met, he can't get enough fuss, cuddles and attention. He gets on great with dogs, he's been walked with and said hello to a whole variety though he is at times over the top, he just wants to play like the big puppy he is.

As he hasn't been taken on many walks previously it's safe to say his lead work was pretty atrocious however we have began working with him, introduced him to a Gencon headcollar and he can walk beautifully with lots of direction and praise however sometimes it does all go to pot when he sees another dog as his excitement gets the better of him performing his best kangaroo impression! Rio's 'sit' command is already well established so we have been using this to our advantage when out walking, if we see another dog coming we ask him for a sit and 'watch me', his focus is fab and allows other dogs to pass by whilst he remains calm. We will be suggesting to any new owner to sign him up for some obedience/socialisation classes to continue working on this but he's made great headway!

Being an overgrown puppy he has oodles of energy, loves to play and a good run around in the playpen, so a home with a big garden will definitely be on his list! He also loves his walks so he will need an active home to give him the exercise he needs and hopefully take him on all kinds of adventures!

Overall Rio is a beautiful boy who just needs a home to continue his training, allow him to relive his puppy-hood and help him grow into the amazing family dog we know he is.
