Poor Shep has spent all of his life so far tied up on a farm, we can only imagine what he's had to endure as a young active collie but thankfully he is with us now and his future is bright!!!

Despite his bad start Shep is super friendly with people, he absolutely loves to be close to you and have all of the fuss, cuddles and attention he can get - who can blame him really!

It comes as no surprise that his leadwork isn't great he does pull and weave, whilst we have started working on this it will need to be continued in his new home. Equally although he knows 'sit' all of his other basic commands are none existent so we do think he would benefit from some training classes to get him up to speed - he is food motivate and always looking to please so hopefully training should come quickly especially with his clever Collie brain!

We are looking for an active home for him, he is an energetic boy and we have no doubt he would be up for all the adventures and explorations he can go on to make up for lost time!

We've found that he does get on with some dogs but others he's not a big fan of, we are however working with him to help him socialise but for now we do think he is best being an only dog.

Shep has been let down by people in the past so he needs an understanding, empathetic but experienced owner to give him the life he dreams of!
